Owner, Hoff-Downing Legal
Lauren Hoff-Downing graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2014. She earned her B.A. in Organizational Studies and Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2010.
Lauren has worked as a labor and employment lawyer in both private and nonprofit law firms. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Cynthia M. Rufe of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
As a former law clerk and legal services lawyer, Lauren knows how to work efficiently and effectively with limited resources. She can quickly research and draft well-written, comprehensive legal briefs and memos, on a wide-range of subjects.
Throughout her career, Lauren has enjoyed searching for answers to difficult questions, analyzing cases, and crafting easy-to-read briefs that advocate for her client’s position. In her free time, she loves to travel, and as the wife of an airline pilot, she is fortunate to be able to do so often. Lauren started Hoff-Downing Legal so that she would have more time to dedicate to both her personal and professional passions, and to help other lawyers do the same.
Lauren currently lives in Miami with her husband and cat Winnie. When she is not working or traveling, she enjoys paddleboarding, biking, and exploring Florida’s beautiful beaches.
